How To Download epub files from my server

Hi,
I've just purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 7" and I'm trying to download my .epub files to it, but it just opens them and all I see is garbage text. I'm able to simply click the file to download it on my 10" Galaxy Tab, but not the 7".

Is there something I need to install or do differently.
