How to remove about blank on samsung note 10.1

Hi all

This is my first post, so please bare with me if I sound like a complete newb.

My wife was using our note 10.1 and noticed on opening a web page that there was an "about blank" page that seems to hold no info and also seems to be impossible to close down ang get rid of.

Can anyone tell me how i can remove this. It's doing my nut now and I'm lost as to how I sort it.

Any advice welcome.

I'm guessing you are using the stock Android browser, try going into the browser settings and use the set home page tab (think thats the name) and it is probably set on open to a blank page.
