How to tell if an app is optimized for a 10 in tablet

I have an android phone and love it but my tablet has been an iPad. I want to get a new Asus but would like to know a way in advance of telling if apps are optimized for the tablet. I guess if there are just a few I may hold out. I looked at Google Play and there is a section called staff tablet picks. When I look at the m, some say for tablet but I assume others are for phones but will work on a tablet.

Is there a listing someplace I can look at before buying the tablet?
