I cant access android market with my tab bought in guangzhou

Canany one help me? I bought my tab in Guangzhou and iam now in Ghana. I realised that with my old tabs, i sign in with a google account to access the android market bu i cant. I tried updating the firmware to that of my region but that too was not possible. I went to a Samsung service provider and they told me they only give in country warranty. They told me that they need to reinstall a new operating system and firmware but they could not guarantee if my tab will work well after the installation. Please i need help
