I have a Huawei S7 Slim Model: S7-201w.
I've rooted the device using SOC. It tells me the device is rooted.
In the app drawer I can see the Super User app. I can open the app without problem.
I've installed ADB and QtADB
I've installed Busybox.
I've installed Titanium Backup.
I've installed Terminal Emulator.
Here's what I need to know:
I've rooted a few Android phones and a Craig Tablet before. After rooting the devices I could look at the home screens and I could easily tell rooting occurred. The S7 Slim screen appears the same.
What did I miss?
One of the big reasons for rooting was to give more flexibility to the home screens. When I installed a replacement launcher (Launcher Pro) it froze the screen. Did the same thing before rooting. Thank God for QtADB This is why I'm wondering if I missed something.
Any help would be appreciated ... Many, many thanks in advance.
