A very rough version of CyanogenMod9-based version of Ice Cream Sandwich has been crammed onto the Barnes and Noble Nook Tablet. The bootloader of the device was locked, but not too long ago it was cracked and the tablet was rooted, so Android developer Brandon Bennet (aka Nemith) is working on getting the CM9 ICS working fully on the tablet. It currently has several features that are non-functional, but it is a work in progress. Supposedly, he is even working on some of the usual cool extras, like booting the tablet directly from a microSD card. We will keep you apprised as the project progresses.
