Hello....
Let me start by saying I am helping a friend with his Acer Iconia A500 tablet and that we are not geographically near one another. I am going by what he has told me.
He stated his A500 will simply not turn on. I asked him if it was charged. He stated there is a white light (which indicates full charge). He hears no noises, it doesn't vibrate nothing.
He stated he did a soft reset (pin in a whole or something) - No luck.
I googled the steps to do a hard reset. Assuming he did it correctly with me dictating over the phone - NO luck
His is 2 years old and out of warranty. So before he trashes it, is there anything that can be done? Is there a tech support number he can call for someone
to talk him through a few things.
