Im a newbie and I need help

Hey!, as the thread says, im a newbie in this whole thing of the android tablets, i bought my iconia a500 a month ago, and i want to get full advantage of it.. so.. i want to know if I root my tablet,and i didnt like the rom, can i get it back as it was when I fiirst bought It? the other thing is, which rom you recommend for this tablet, and what are your recommendations for me?; right now i have honeycomb 3.2.1; Thank you!

I depends mostly on what exactly you want it to do that it doesn't do now. You can root your tablet without flashing a new rom, but even here there is little reason unless, again, there is something specific you want to accomplish.
