Last night, out of no where, my A500 was suddenly unable to connect to my home network. I went to Acer's web site (from my PC, obviously) and downloaded the patch designed to fix this issue. I checked my build number, and it IS one of those that this patch was designed to help.
After downloading it, I saw in the instructions that you are supposed to put it on an SD card and follow special boot instructions.

I don't have an SD card.

Is there any way to install this patch without running out to the store this afternoon?

You want an SD card anyway, this is your excuse to get one.
You don't need a big expensive card for this. A little 2 gig like 5 bucks at wallmart and under 2 bucks in some places.

Are you sure you don't have one of these laying around the house in an old phone or something?
They are not that rare.

You could try putting it on a USB thumb drive.
