Introduction and General Tablet Question

Greetings all,

My name is Jack, and I have an Ipad2. My wife is always complaining about how she never gets to use it! There is no way we can afford another Ipad, so, I am shopping for a touchpad that she can use.

She just wants something that she can browse with, and that is email capable. I am thinking an 7 or 8" screen would do, and probably 4 gig minimum with wifi. Any suggestions??

Is access to the actual Android Market important?

I recommend at minimum:
Android 2.3
Capacitive touchscreen
Either Android Market ready to go OR pretty easy to add yourself without rooting (and your willingness to take the time and effort to install it)
uSD slot

Expect to spend $150-200.

Click the link, and when you get there look through the "Sticky:"s at the beginning and then look through the existing threads and ask whatever questions occur to you. Good luck finding the "Perfect" tablet for her.
