After receiving no responses to my previous postings at this forum, Im trying a different approach. The issue involves an apparent corrupted factory installed app (Smart Office), on my Craig CLP281a netbook, and my subsequent discovery of a 2.apk file in the units internal memory with a Smart Office logo. Seems like a mystery to Craig support.
Now, my question is to anyone having knowledge of this model: Is this configuration unique to my unit, not found on any other sample of it, or have other folks come across it also on theirs?
If others exist, has anyone ventured to find the true purpose of 2.apk, and can it partially modify the installed ROMs Smart Office app, presumably to correct its failure to launch successfully?
