Is there someway to run another version of linux on a tcc8902 tablet.

I have a tcc8902 tablet and it's quite unresponsive and crashes,and tons of apps don't even work.Is there some version of angstrom linux to run on it or atleast a toolchain to build it with? I think the boot loader is tcboot.Is there a way to port it to such a device.If there's a good android version let me know.My device is an MPMAN MID7C (Coby Kyros 7014).
