iuw tools - disgo 6000

hi everyone .im trying to use iuw tools to reboot my disgo 6000 via sd card but the tools programme will not recognise my sd card reader the card works fine and its been formatted the computer sees the card as soon as its inserted but (windows xp prof) but iuw wont . any ideas please
