just bought a CMP738a and can't connect to internet!!

Don't use those two icons for WiFi that will just confuse you. If you had used them put them back in disable mode. Go back to the home screen press menu = select settings, wifi and set your device that way.

OT but maybe helpful - I was having trouble connecting at home using 802.11g & wpa2. Blamed the craig at first,but my Wii was not connecting good either. I switched the channel on my router & the craig is conecting solid.

I need to check that out - what channel are you using? I found that I had to switch from my WPA2 AP's to another with only WEP 128 (used for older devices that cannot do WPA) as my workaround.

I just updated with the 2.2 FroYo update from Craig, and if anything, it seems even worse with the WPA AP's (have not had a chance yet to try the WEP AP).
