Just picked one up but need advice

It is on the way with the following:

Gingerbread Rom - 2.3.7 cyanogenmod-7.1.0.1-smb_a1002-REPACK-BL1.2 build number GWK74, and
KERNEL VERSION 2.6.32.46-cyanogenmod root@pershoot-ubuntu #1

Please keep in mind I have 0 experience in custom mods...

Question is: Should this upgraded to another ROM or is this a good one for wifi, Flash video, speed and versatility? Also, I don't care about the camera.

The CM rom is a nice stable one to start with.
