keeping sound from background tabs playing

i like to listen to streaming radio or youtube clips in the background while i do other things, but as i'm sure you're all aware, stitching to a new tab stops video/audio in the background tab. does anyone know how to change this?

TuneIn Radio works great for streaming radio and you can listen while in other apps. Not sure what to tell you about youtube...I just tried the dedicated app and it won't background play either.

i've been using tunein radio, and i love it. i also subscribe to a behind the scenes stream of a radio show that streams hd video through the browser. that's the main thing i'd like to see working. is it possible that a non-stock browser would allow this?

Download the Vevo app from the market. Many Videos

I agree tunein is nice, so is the Pandora app
