kyros 7012-4g change first logo

I had just a few questions about the 7012.
one, I have downloaded a bootanimation.zip and know how to get to the boot menu but not sure where to go from there. I can view the zip using es file viewer but I dont know how to move it to the system/media folder. (if that's even where it goes.)
two, Can someone provide me a link to either flash lite for my 2.3 device or instructions on getting flash up and running. I read here some users had success using linda's ? method? Not sure where to find that. I had previously installed flash but that was before i got dolphin Hd so i'd like to check it on there.
and lastly, a link to rooting instructions would be awesome.

bootanimation.zip usually goes to /system/media indeed, but you need a system with writeable permissions, which doesn't happen in stock firmware, so you need to root and mount it rw AFAIK.

So far, no custom ROM or upgrade ROM for 7012, but you may want to take a look at this:

BTW, the first logo that appears when tablet is turned one has nothing to do with bootanimation, which is loaded later when the system files are being processed.

There are some tutorials for rooting and installing Market on 7012, use the forum's search feature, it does a great job.
