Kyros 8048 random strange issues

My daughter's Kyros 8048 is experiencing some strange problems

1. Random shut off

2. Battery indicating 100% charge and never less no matter how long on battery

3. Factory reset doesn't work, upon factory reset it simply powers off then stays off

4. Factory update (About Tablet --- System Update) Installing an update.zip (root&gapps, 8048 recovery, and etc.) simply powers off the device and it stays off.

5. Unable to successfully boot into any type of fastboot or recovery ... unless I'm doing it wrong.

Has anyone experienced any of these issues and if so is there a way of fixing it?

Never thought I'd figure this out on my own, yet I have to admit it happened by accident. Just in case this happens to another unfortunate person. Do be aware in my strange case even factory reset would not work nor would a hard reset.

1. Uninstalled every app I downloaded

2. Removed all custom wallpapers

3. Allowed battery to fully drain

4. Plug in and attempt to factory reset

I don't know why this worked or what actually caused it to function correctly. For now it appears my problems have been fixed and so far the root and gapps update.zip seems to be functioning well.
