Le Pan TC970 Custom Rom

I bought one of these tablets and love the quality of it and was also told by their support that they would release Ice Cream Sandwich for it. Now they say they aren't and they won't be releasing any firmware updates either. They will be releasing a new tablet that has ice cream sandwich but that doesn't help me at all.

Does anyone know of someone working on custom roms for this tablet? It is a great little tablet and now the price has dropped to $200 on Amazon, so I am hoping that it will become more popular and people will start making new roms for it because it would be nice to get off of Android 2.2.

I dont know i would like to know i have mine rooted but don't know what clockworkmod recovery to flash the le pan is not listed

Here's hoping for CyanogenMod7 someday. The Nook Colour one could be a base, device hardware seems similar, according to posts I have seen.

chinabull has a working, alpha version of CWM recovery for the LPI, as mentioned in that thread linked above.
