It looks like Asus will finally get some serious competition in the 10-inch Android tablet markets. Lenovo just entered the fray with global availability of the IdeaPad S2110. You can grab this premium tablet for the non-premium price of just $350 bucks on their website. Also, it's optional docking keyboard is only $50 bucks, which is a big savings versus the Asus Transformer docking keyboard at $150. Here's a quote with some details on this super-bang-for-your-buck:
The tab comes with a 10.1-inch IPS HD display, a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 16GB internal storage, and 1GB of RAM. It also sports a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1.3MP HD front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, micro HDMI port, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
Like Asus shape-shifting Transformer series, you can get an optional keyboard docking station for the IdeaPad S2110. Not only will it add 10 more hours of battery life, but it also comes with two USB ports and 3-in-1 SD card reader.
These are promotional prices, so you might head over to the link to grab yours ASAP!
What do you guys think? Could Lenovo give Asus a run for their money in the high-end Android tablet segment? With these specs, and at these prices, it seems like a real possibility...
