Lenovo just launched a new wallet-friendly series of Android tablets. Here's a breakdown for each of them below:

The A1000 = $149.99 at Best Buy
  • 7-inch tablet with a 1024x600 screen
  • 1.2GHz MTK dual-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16GB of storage
  • Android 4.1
  • A microSD Card Slot
The A3000 = $179.99 at Best Buy (This one is identical to the A1000 but offers a more powerful quad-core processor for your 20 bucks.)
  • 7-inch tablet with a 1024x600 screen
  • 1.2GHz MTK quad-core processor
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16GB of storage
  • Android 4.2
  • A microSD Card Slot
The S6000 = $279.99 at Best Buy
  • 10.1-inch 1280x800 IPS display
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 1.2GHz MTK 8389/8125 quad-core processor
  • 32GB of storage
  • Android 4.2
  • A microSD Card Slot
Hmmm.... seems intriguing. The 10-inch device especially seems like a decent bargain if you are in the market for a tablet of that size. What do you guys think?

It's worth noting that the prices have fluctuated during the time of this article. Best Buy has all of these tablets at the listed prices above, but Amazon has them slightly different. Amazon has the A1000 ($151.20) and the A3000 ($183.20) a little bit more, but has the S6000 for only $249.99. That's a real bargain for a 10-inch tab.

We included quick links to the tablets above if you want to take advantage of these deals.

Hard to get correct info on these tablets, A1000 has 4.2 OS yet some site list 4.1'
A3000 is listed sometimes as not having GPS, and 179 - 149 = 30 not 20

I agree that the 10-inch tab may be a bargain. Not so much, the other two. The 7" segment is highly competitive and Lenovo's display is substandard in today's market. As are the dual-core processor and stale Android 4.1 OS on the A1000. And, why doesn't the company include HDMI?

Where did you see they don't include HDMI, it's on my tablet I have no use for it, and it's included in these tablets as far as I think, can't think of a reason for Lenovo not to include it.

The above link seems to show all the stuff included in the tablets, I use bestbuy myself, they are horrible on specs, you just need to go to store yourself and read the specs, as bestbuy doesn't get them right most of the time.

There are reasons this tablet is selling for $250. and not $400. Here are the down-sides: The MediaTek quad-core processor is an ARM Cortex-A7 chip, which means it won’t offer the same performance you’d get from a model with a more powerful architecture like Arm Cortex-A15 or Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600. The 1280 x 800 pixel display is also starting to look a bit dated, at a time when 10 inch tablets with 1920 x 1200 pixel or higher resolution screens are becoming common. And according to the Best Buy website, the IdeaTab S6000 has a 4-point capacitive multitouch display, while many tablets have 10-point touchscreens.

I agree I wouldn't buy the 10inch Tablet due to price and processor, My a2109 9 inch most likely would out preform the 10 inch.

Again bestbuy, shouldn't be used to quote anything, the tablet is a 10-point multitouch.

Personally, regardless of the price, neither of the three are on my shopping list. I'm looking for an 8-inch tab with at least 162 ppi (1024 x 768) resolution. So, I may even end up cycling over to Walmart and buying the Nextbook Premium 8HD E Fun tab for $99.

Sounds good buy the tablet that makes you happy, as you are the one that is going to use it.
