LePan not able to factory reset

My Son setup a pass code to get access to the device and now he can not remember the code. is it possible to reset it back to factory setting.

I have tried the power and the volume down and i keep getting firmware file is bad. press power to shutdown is there way to reset it.
please help

Hi

Is there anything else that I could try? My kids tablet is not working... just shows the logo. And shuts down and restarts constantly, but never gets past that screen.

I tried the info in the link provided, but it just comes up "Firmware is bad. Press power button to shut off."

Anything else I can try?

have you tried it with the sdcard removed? If not try that. If so, open a case with Le Pan.

Yep, with sd card removed. Also wiped the sd card and put only firmware updates from LePan.com Tried with a different tablet's sd card also. (We have five of them, this is the only one that's given us grief.)

Guess it's time to contact Le Pan. Thanks for the help.
