According to a new rumor emerging from China, the recently announced LG G Pad 8.3 tablet could cost as little as $299 when it hits markets later next month. The G Pad 8.3 is set to be LGs alternative to other low cost budget tablets in the Android ecosystem like the Nexus 7 and the Amazon Kindle Fire.
Reported to pack a slightly superior hardware, the G Pad 8.3 could prove to be successful in the Android sphere if the pricing turns out to be true. LGs last known tablet was the Optimus Pad, which wasnt exactly a hot seller, but LGs fortunes could certainly change with the G Pad 8.3.
The new tablet packs an 8.3 inch 1920×1200 resolution display, a 1.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 600 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot, a 5MP camera along with a 1.3MP front facing camera, a 4,600 mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with LGs custom UI.
