Linux on Coby MID 7015

Has anybody had any success at running Debian Linux on the Coby Mid 7015? I have tried DebDroid but it would never boot into Debian. Just curious to know if it was even possible.

Basically I want to try to use this device for pentesting and in order to do so, I would need linux so I could attempt to compile pentesting tools for ARM architecture, sort of like what they were doing with neopwn (NeoPwn Mobile Pentesting - Pioneers of Mobile Network Auditing)

I believe the folks over at Android & Windows Phone: Tablets, Apps, & ROMs @ xda-developers were working on a port...I am not sure where the thread is off hand, but it may be worth a look.
