Long system updates

Hello everyone,new member here.I just picked up a new Acer A500 today,and after turning on for setup after having charged iti get the message that a system update is ready so i go ahead and do the update.About 5 mins later i get another message that there is another system update ready,so i click yes to install this update and know the A500 has been sitting on the unpacking screen for over an hour.Any idea's on how to continue.Also thank you in advance for any help...

Not sure it just said that a system update was ready,so i clicked update it said the update was 357megs...

It's now going on 2hours and still sitting at the unpacking icon,should i just leave it plugged in when i got to bed and hope it finishes overnight...

Its crashed. Do a factory reset and start again.
Installing the updates only takes 5 mins or so after download.

Yup it had crashed during the update,i just shut it down and restarted the A500 and all was good...
