Looking for a tablet for my girlfriend today, please help

Hello I looking for a decent tablet for my girlfriend. We have been together for 5 years. My price range is from 200-300 bucks. I am looking for something decent and that has the most bang for buck. Do you guys have any recommendations? I have been checking out this Le Pan II pad. It sports a 9.7 touch screen 1.2Ghz dual core cpu, 1Gb ram, 8GB internal memory. and looks okay. The only drawback I can think of is that it does not have a HDMI port and only has 1 from facing camera. Its upgradable to ICS. The price is 280. I like that it has a dual core cpu and my chick would only play angry birds and other dumb little games like this, and basic web browsing. Please tell me what you guys think and give me other options. I been looking for a couple days already and need to order today so it can arrive on her birthday. Here is the newegg link.

I've been happy with my Vizio VTAB1008 which I've had for over two months. Many features for only $200, gps, universal remote, hdmi out, micro sd storage. It doesn't have the best horse power but your girl won't need it for games like angry birds. It surfs the net and plays videos very well. And you don't even need an Internet connection to use the gps.

Have you considered things like size and color?

I know that my girlfriend ended up selecting Zenithink C71 not because it was the best Tablet out there (even though it is among the best in that price range) but because it was red and fitted in her handbag
