Looking for off line Calendar App for Sylvania 7" Mini Tablet - SYNET7LP

My mother bought a Sylvania 7" to use as a day-planner/organizer. But none of the calenders I down load onto the thing work. Either the look for the Google Calendar that I set up for her (and can't find it) or they give an error code.

Plus there is no native calendar app that I can find on the system.

Please help.

(BTW, I got the Amazon App store installed along with the SlideME store)

I can't get Jorte as I don't have access to the Android Market on this thing, I only have Slide (SAM 4.0) and the Amazon Market Place

I found Cozi, but it keeps closing as soon as I open it, after I was able to set it up and work on it for about 1/2 hour.
