Look for 10" tablet which has HDMI port! It will solve your problem.

I saw an article the other day where a guy made his own 23" Android tablet in his kitchen. I'd think that would be plenty large but if you aren't into making your own a 10" is as big as it gets right now.
There are many good choices to choose from, my tablet of choice being the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

Not necessarily! Lots (if not all) HDMI ports function only when playing video - purpose is to show movies on a large-screen TV. Other apps or the tablet screen in general are not sent out the HDMI port.
