lost multi-touch

I just got my nook color a few days ago and auto nooted it with 3.0 and then got in the same rom manager boot loop so many others have gotten into. To fix it, I restarted with book software 1.0.1 and auto nooted with 2.12.25.

Since the newest rooting, it appears that I have lost multi touch functionality. Does anyone know what might have happened and have a way to get my multi touch back? I am willing to go to froyo or honeycomb if necessary, but it doesn't seem like it should require that. I remember reading something about losing multi touch upon rooting and the fix for it the first time I rooted, but of course I can not find it now.

Actually Multi-touch comes with 1.1 Rom, as you're on 1.0.1 obviously you don't have

I suggest you to install pre-rooted 1.1 rom - Instructions

Update to b&n 1.1 software, root with autonooter 3.0 and don't install CWM recovery. If you are want to use CWM recovery for backups either, as avi suggest flash straight to NookColor_v1.1.0_r2 ROM or install the newest version of CWM rom manger from the market and flash the CWM recovery 3.0.1 http://www.androidtablets.net/forum...m-manager-nandroid-backup-custom-kernels.html
