I can enter my Android tablet no problem, but I can not buy apps or anything else with google since I lost my password to the gmail account. They ask some questions that I can not possibly answer to get a new one. How do I create a new gmail and associate it with my Acer.

I went that route, but they ask verification questions that I can not answer. At this point I just want to associate the android with a new gmail account.

You;ll need to create a new account and password then add it to your Acer's accounts. That will be your new G-Mail account.
