LY-706 not working

Hello, I got my LY-706 today and it doesnt work when I switch it on, nothing on the screen, NOTHING, am so frustated, please could someone help me (I am not good with pc at all...)

I would suggest an immediate contact for return and exchange. I do not have a LY-706. But I do know there are some models which have a high initial failure rate.

I have taken the attitude, if it does not break in the first 3-4 weeks, then there is nothing wrong with it. And it should last. Unfortunately using that logic, you have received a DOA device.

well thats just my luck...
When I pressed power the 1st time, I had the little green thing coming on the screen with android word underneath.
And thats it, nothing else.
They sent me the wrong charger, it doesnt have the uk nor europeen pins.
I am using my ipod charger at the momment but it still doesnt work.

OK, latest news:
I got an adaptor for the charger and my ly706/mid 706 is working now.
BUT...
Cant set up wifi, dont even know what SSDI means (i'm french & not blonde, lol)

I've got 100s of songs in my htc tattoo, so I put the sd card in the in the ly706 but the data dont synchronise.
What am I doing wrong?
Is there somewhere on the forum where I can find simple instructions to work my ly706 properly?
