Mail loads slowly

I am using Yahoo mail on the Acer 500A. I ran speed test app and was at 28Mbps. However the emails seem to take forever to load. I have an iPod Touch and they load very fast. Is there a way to speed up the loading of emails on the 500?

If you are using the Yahoo app you might want to consider using a standard E-Mail app instead. It will very likely perform much better even if the Yahoo app does well on your phone.

I downloaded the Yahoo Mail app and it works great. I changed the EMail account that I guess was the default that came with the Acer to my Google email and it works great. Maybe this is a way for Google to encourage the use of Gmail

OK, lack of functionality. It works fine when it works but lacks in some areas like folders, select all and other functions some other mail clients have..
