Hi
I bought a second hand Asus MemoPad 10.
There is a small exclamation mark on top left corner of the screen.
Also what looks like an intermittent/crawling up exclamation mark on wifi signal bar.
Wifi works fine and all other devices at home connects with wifi.
Tablet cannot connect to asus website as it says website may have changed or server busy.
My Gmail sync has not happened for last 48 hours-still trying to sync!
Google play store does not give much options of apps.
what could be going on?
Many thanks
Model:ME301T
Android 4.2.1
Wifi Version:v7.5.1.50

More than likely you have two things happening here.

1. The type of WiFi signal needed by your tablet isn't provided by your router. I had this happen with my Nintendo 3DS. It requires a 2.4GHz connection that supports 802.11b. My router only supports 802.11g or n on the 2.4GHz band, so I have to tether my 3DS to my smartphone to update it.

2. Google accounts no longer function on devices running versions of Android older than 5.0. This affects every Google app. There is no fix as this is intended behavior. The lack of apps on the Play Store is because developers are required to target recent versions of Android, and your tablet has been left behind.

Time for a new tablet.
