Micro HDMI cable length

I get no trace of a connection from my Vizio Tablet to LCD Tv's using the HDMI connectors

I have tried both a Vizio and a Panasonic. Each specifies that their HDMI connector is HDCP compliant.

I believe I read that the Vizio is HDCP compliant.

My cables are 6' and 12' long.

Has anyone corrected this black screen situation by using a 3' Mini HDMI cord for less signal loss?

The only other option is that that terminal is not working on my VTAB and I am out of the return to seller time period.

Thanks for any insights.

There has been some discussion about this in other threads and it looks like the culprit may indeed be HDMI length. Try the shorter cable and see what happens.

I am using what I would assume is a low quality 15' hdmi cable and female hdmi X micro hdmi adapter (got both for six bucks on amazon) and it works great on my vizio led lcd tv so I dont think it is the length that is the problem. I will try on my other vizio tvs (32" lcd and 50" plasma) to see if it works on them.I did try the same cable on an older vizio lcd tv and all I got was a pink screen.
edit: 6 year old plasma-pink screen also.
