Mid7127/8127 stuck at rebooting screen!

My mid8127 is stuck at the "android" text. ive tried reseting it but it brings me right back to the frozen screen. i have rooted it and installed the marketplace and rooted apps and am wondering how to fix this problem. please help.

This happened to me on my mid7127 I had installed a rom and it didn't work for some reason. I am on Linux I set up the android sdk so I could use adb and then I was able to reboot into recovery using adb reboot recovery. I am using cwm not sure if this is required or not. Worth a try.

Yes, you need Recovery Mode. It's known that it's broken on 8125 and 1125 using the hardware buttons, but it can be started using adb. Look for threads about doing it on 8125/1125 as it should work the same way on 7127/8127 as well.
