Motorola Xoom Release Date?

Has anyone been able to confirm the actual release date for the Motorola Xoom? Most tech blogs seem to point at an April 2011 release day with some mentioning as late as May. Seems like it would make sense to push this device out before the iPad 2 is released.

I've never seen april or may, every report I have read said Q1...many have said late Feb.

And here is article from androidtablets.net saying Motorola expect to be selling around 800k units in Q1

I think motorola xoom will be release this coming april 2011. But I am not that sure. I cannot find any article about its release date.

There seems to be 3 release dates for the motorola xoom. at CES it was said the first shipment in Q1 will be the 3G version which can be upgraded to 4G at a later date. since then the rumors are the wifi only version will be released around april and the complete 4G version will be released in May.
As for what the actually release date will be for Q1 no one has that info yet. my guess is it will be the beginning of march so that verizon has the whole month of feb to push the new iphone.

The one that was April was for Argentina!!! and the 3G model for Argentina is for May!

People need to read articles properly.

It's not that we expected the Motorola Xoom to forever be tethered to a carrier, but it sounds like we won't be waiting nearly as long as we did for Samsung's WiFi-only Galaxy Tab. Latin America GM Maurizio Angelone has told Infobae that a WiFi-only version does indeed exist and will first arrive in April -- one month before the 3G version will hit the market. The article doesn't specify if those months are specifically for Argentina or if they apply elsewhere as well, but it does sound like it'll be available sooner rather than later.

the xoom will have it's first launch in Feb. the exact date isn't know but it was even said at CES. check out this link Verizon | Leadership Team

if you scroll down to when they start talking about the xoom, it says:

if you scroll down to when they start talking about the xoom, it says:

If you look at the video, the availability bullet is not on the slide at all.

The February release date is spoken, so it could be a mistake.
