My keyboard not working right -Help!

Hi - I disabled some built in apps this last weekend and that messed up several things on my Asus Memo Pad 7". I have figured out what apps to enable again for most of the things but one thing I can not figure out. When I type on the soft keyboard (like when Goggling something) a black bar appears above the keyboard and the text I type appears in the black bar. But, the text does not appear in the Google box! Can someone please tell what I should do. Thank you. Jim Williams

Had you rooted your Memo or otherwise did something to the Android OS?

If not try changing from the ASUS keyboard to the Android keyboard, restart and switch back to see if that helps. If it's on the Android keyboard, reverse the process.

Thank you Leeshor - Just turning my Memo off and then back on seems to have fixed the problem. No, I have not rooted my tablet. I do wish that there was an easier way to get rid of all the bloatwear, though. Thanks again! - Jim
