my new android 2.2 tablet

I just purchased this android tablet of ebay from china. Does anyone know how to get my apps in english, they are in chinese at the present time.

Hi press the setting button on bottom right ,the cog icon,then then the 10th item down is langauge {the icon has an A in it if its the same} and keyboard,then the top option of the 3 lets u select langauge

I also got a Android 2.2 tablet from China recently, it doesn't seem to want to accept my email addresses. Can anybody give me the basics to start to set-up my new tablet?
