Need feedback, HDMI not working

Hi, I have a MID1126 original rom.

When connected to a tv thru the HDMI output, the option stays grayed won't let me choose either LCD or HDMI. I tried differents cables and TV's. My guess is that is not detecting the cable.

When you plug in the HDMI cable, even if not attached to a TV, does it let you choose mode (LCD or HDMI)?

I need to know because if so it's a hardware problem, right?

With some players like Vortex you have to selct HDMI out. (It is a small TV Icon).

The problem is I can't select anything in the settings-display-output settings, it's gray.

My issue is the same. Mid1126. Hdmi in settings stays shaded. I would love to play angry birds on my big screen...lol

Find out this tablet is not compatible with european tv's. The option should turn white when connected to a USA tv set.
