Netflix without root! Finally!

someone released a hacked apk that doesnt require rooting for the A500. I tried it and so far, it works great. Here is the link

On the download page Click on direct download to avoid having to download a download manager. Let me know if it works for you too. Btw, I am running 3.2.

Yea! This so cool! Works like a charm ! ! Finally - I get to use this for one of the main reasons I got it - Netflix! Many thanks for the time & effort put into this!!!

It kinda makes you wonder though - if someone(much smarter than me) can take an exiting Netflix program, slightly modify it so that it works perfectly on the A500 - why hasn't Netflix done it & made it available? It seems there has been plenty of requests/demand for the capability.

The actual Netflix app is on the market--I just downloaded it and it works fine. I have 3.2 unrooted.

I don't know--I didn't download that hacked version assuming the official one would be put on the market shortly. That seems to be the way of it usually.

Correct. All you need to do is download the Netflix app off the market. It works now
