It's time for a new teardown from those technological surgeons over at iFixit. This time they have the new generation Nexus 7 in their labs for the disassembling. Ultimately the device scored a 7 out of 10 on the repairability score which is considered "easy." As usual, the process is fascinating and they have a ton of pics of the process. One thing worth noting is the big differences in body type. The new Nexus 7 is thinner, taller, and narrower. It also now longer has the texture on the back panel, although it does retain the soft rubberized material.
