New and need help.

I have a Apad irobot I was given for free (just need to do basic stuff as I have a laptop I love) but it says model number sdkDemo firmware version 1.5 Kernel version 3.6.25.
Anyway the google talk settings still display the previous person's account, and I can't figure out to change it to mine. Also I must have done something as now it only will search the internet in Chinese!!! Even though the information when not on Google is in English???
