They really are starting to "come out of the woodwork" now, but we can't help but enjoy the huge variety of Android tablets that are now available. Here's another new one to add to the massive list. This one is called the A9000, and it is an ICS toting tablet from a company called ZBS. This one is coming for the budget-friendly market, and will sell for the nice low price of $199.99. Here's a huge list of specs and features for the new device:
- Allwinner A10 Cortex-A8 processor (1.5 GHz)
- 1 GB of DDR3 RAM
- Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
- Storage 16 GB
- 9.7 inch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 768 and an aspect ratio of 4:3
- Support for 3D gaming and 2160 Super HD video playback
- A USB Host is also available on the device.
- Built in Wi-Fi, and Ethernet
- Support for 3G is possible through an external dongle
- Two cameras onboard the device - front = 0.3 MP & back = 2.0 MP
- Free earphone, USB cable, charger, and manual
"...an audio splitter cable, a strap, and an emergency charger which can be powered by AA batteries, and an SD memory card reader. This option also includes several converters, like a 2.5mm to USB converter, 2.5 mm to Mini USB converter, 3.5 mm to 2.5 mm audio converter, and a .5 mm to 3.5 mm audio converter. These converters are available in case the user wants to use the tablet with other devices."
Right now it is unknown if this device will be available beyond China, but we will keep you informed.
