There is a new Android tablet entering the landscape soon. This new tab comes from a company called ZaReason, and their new Android 4.0 tablet is aptly named, ZaTab. Sorta clever, I suppose. The tablet actually has some decent specs and very good aesthetics, although that is obviously subjective. At any rate, this tablet will host the following specifications and retail for $349:
  • 9.7 inch IPS display with 1024×768 resolution
  • 1.2 GHz Allwinner A10 Processor (?)
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 16GB for storage
  • Front and rear side cameras
  • Wifi
  • 8000mAh Battery
  • microUSB, microSD and microHDMI ports/slots

I wonder what's zaReason for such a high price for zaTab.

Not that the specs are terrible by any means, but they aren't spectacular given the availability of other tabs in that price range that outperform it. However, it's got a monster battery, comes rooted, and has a good form factor with a metal back. Hopefully they don't run into the wifi issues of the ASUS Transformer Prime.
