New Asus Transformer TF300T Touch Screen Issues

Hello. I purchased the aforementioned tablet today, and am already experiencing issues. I have not inserted an sd card, downloaded any apps or even used the
tablet period. The keys for "M", "K", and the "." on the touchscreen are completely unresponsive. I tried rebooting, and am now stuck at the lockscreen because the lock mechanism is misbehaving as well. Is this an issue I can correct myself or something for the warranty to consider? Try doing a hard reset. Hold VOL DOWN and POWER for 12-15 seconds until you see some small words at the top of the screen. Release both buttons. On the next screen there will be 2 icons, the right one will be glowing in green.

In about 5-10 seconds it will continue and say COLD BOOTING LINUX.

This will not erase any data on your tablet, just clear out some cobwebs in the corners.

If that does not work, you may want to see about exchanging or sending it in for warranty.
