Lenovo's new entry-level tablet went on sale this morning pretty much without warning, but unfortunately they don't quite have the hardware and pricing right, yet.

The A1000 is a 7-inch tablet with a 1024x600 screen, 1.2GHz MTK dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and Dolby Digital Plus with front-facing speakers. This device comes with 16GB of storage for $149.

I predict a price drop sooner than later.

Sounds reasonably priced, like the speakers being in front.

Consider for a moment the Asus MeMO Pad 7 which carries the same price tag, but superior hardware running Android 4.2 JB. Which would you buy?
Lenovo's price may be reasonable, but it's certainly not competitive. Where's the value?

Which of the two would I buy? hands down the Lenovo.
We are all different when I spend over 120 the tablet must have gps, I know the lenovo does what about the other tablet.
In todays market a tablet should be at least dual core, have micro sdcard slot, 1GB ram, and have gps.

So, I guess you're not a future buyer of the Google Nexus 7, either. Even at today's reduced price of $179.

Nope, wont ever buy Nexus 7, Have said that many times, unless google stops charging for storage and adds a micro sdcard.
