New to Andriod - Polaroid Tablet Problem

Hi, I got the Polaroid 4.3″ Android MID model number pmid4300 from Big lots and had it for a few days and trying to figure out why it will not turn back on.

it was on the 'charge batter ok' screen and then it went black and will not turn back on. any ideas on what happened and how to fix it?
