New to android

I am retired and living on the Cost Blanca in Spain, this is my first post.

I have just purchased my first Android tablet a Huawei Ideo S7 105 I have managed to get a mobile connection but cannot get connected to the internet. WIFI signal appears O.K. and have added to my homegroup network, but no joy.
