I just bought a flytouch 3 16Gb from chinagrabber.
After i oppened the box i tried to charge the unit but the charger was dead. While i wait that chinagrabber give me another i bought a replacement in a electronic store and im starting to tweek my pad.
The information it give me is the folowing:

Android version

Kernel version

Ive read alot of post on foruns, but im a bit mixed about some concepts.
Firts of all what does the "About device" information means?
Is there a deference between firmwares and roms or are they the same things?
What roms or/and firmware updates should i make to my pad?
