I got my NC last week and immediately rooted it with the help of all the amazing guides out there. BIG thanks to all of the helpful people out there.
I saw that there was a B&N update to 1.1 and found this link that walked me through getting the 1.1 software onto my already rooted NC:

The link also has instructions on how to OC to 1.1 Ghz. So far, I really have not had any complaints with the speed of my NC. The only thing I've done with it where I can tell it's struggling a bit is Pocket Legends (and even then I can only tell it's choked up a bit because my iPhone 4 runs smoother). In other words, I don't feel a burning desire to OC my NC yet. However, I'd like to learn more about it. I.e., what can go wrong, what to look for, is there a forum consensus on which method to use for stability, is the OC guide in the attached link ok to use?
